Retractable Crane Loading Platforms

from $20,000.00

Retractable outriggers are the decks you want. You can line them up to serve multiple floors on a single run. When a storm is coming in, you can tuck them in so there isn’t a large profile at risk. But let’s take a look at the data. We have 17’ of outboard reach. The widths range from 7’-2” to 13’-7”. That’s a lot of space to land MEP and glass packages. If you need more space, the end gates open up for longer items. These are sizeable decks to achieve anything you need. At the halfway point while extended you’ll find that we are rated for the advertised 11,000 lbs. We aren’t a bait and switch supplier that advertises 11,000 lbs then delivers 50% in practical terms. Eichinger and CraneGear are delivering the goods. We also see this as a safety feature. We don’t change the rating. It’s constant. This way the crew knows what they can land on the deck safety, every time.

The design options are varied. Beyond the sizes, we can do a bolted deck to 13’-7”. These eliminate the logistical problems of shipping. If one just needed one or two of these, they can ship inside of the container which helps with the affordability. With room left over you can put other things in the container too since we manufacture hundreds of items. Cutting out the shipping on those items really does a lot to manage those costs.

Our welded decks ship in an open top container. It’s basically double the cost of a standard container. But then you have decks that have little need for assembly. Stand up the sides and mount the posts. You are ready for work. If these are the 7’-2” versions they’ll ship in a container. It is a good way to control the costs. I’m a fan of taking advantage of the operational savings that comes with having a large deck. Whichever way a client wants to go, we have options.

The complications in shipping with these means that we need to get quotes and plan for the process. Reach out at Sales@cranegear.net to get that process going today.
